  • Deployed as an army officer in Liberia, oversaw medical faculty construction during Ebola pandemic

  • Worked for a land development engineering firm in DFW before building a small investment research and modeling business

  • Would seek to replace the state STAAR test with a “localized solution”

  • Wants to cut spending on athletic infrastructure and reinvest in classrooms, special education and teacher retirement programs

  • Will vote to “empower teachers to protective themselves” from violence in schools

  • Graduated as the first member of her family to earn a college degree before attending law school and graduating magna cum laude

  • Began working in a commercial litigation group before running her own civil litigation and employment law firm

  • Has passed bills to help increase access to higher education by making it more affordable

  • Will work to make sure every child has the opportunity to succeed

  • Has a long track record of authoring , co authoring and sponsoring bills that provide financial support and access to opportunities for k-12 students.
